Claire is an aspiring writer who can be relied upon to be pleasingly outmoded. Passionate about needlework (all kinds) and quilting, she can always be found with a cup of tea at hand and a good book not far away. A high soprano, she loves music, especially opera, and sings both with a church choir and also the local town-and-gown chorus. When not engaged in writing or singing, she is bossed by the imperious Marschallin-cat, Resi, and on occasion by two Canadian Dachshunds.
